Altgeld – John Altgeld – 00s Fuji cross bike – SOLD

Quick build up for this 2000s Fuji 57 cm Crosstown budget cross bike/commuter. We did a glittered up blue powder coat, hand-built wheels, and largely a Shimano 600 groupset. Altgeld was originally built to fit a particular regular tour rider who had their bike stolen, and was set up with this rather high-set, but short-reach cockpit, per his riding style.

Named for Illinois Governor John Peter Altgeld.
